Does your home feel more expensive?

It probably is.

Each year, the Dallas Business Journal surveys homebuilders from across the metroplex to gauge how much their homes are selling for. Over the past four years, prices have continued to inch up.

Our data is self-reported and tracks with trends being observed throughout the metroplex. The number of homes listed below $200,000 is diminishing, though sales in the suburbs aren’t slowing down any time soon and new home starts are setting records.

If you’re ready to sell your house and cash in, think about your timing. According to data from MetroTex Association of Realtors, the perfect time to sell may differ depending on what kind of home you live in.

Click through the charts below to compare data from our homebuilders and MetroTex.
